When a referrer shares their referral coupon code and a customer uses it to complete an eligible order, the referrer earns a reward coupon. The reward can then be applied to an eligible subscription, whether it is an **active/existing subscription** or a **new subscription**. Depending on the reward configuration, the discount can be applied automatically to future subscription renewals for an unlimited number of renewals or for a specific number. ## **How the Feature Works** The complete process can be divided into four stages: **Configure → Refer → Earn → Apply** ### **1. Configure the Referral Coupon** First, the site administrator needs to configure the referral coupon. Go to the **Referral Coupon** settings and configure the coupon type as a recurring subscription discount. Depending on the available configuration, you can set the referral coupon as: - **Recurring Product Discount** - **Recurring Product Percentage Discount** Configure the required discount value and save the settings.
